Finally! Snow. Love this shot of Jacob.

Frosty the Snow Pile

This is just a faboo shot of the neighbor girl.

Here's my man Jacob! It's still snowing on us. You can see the remnants of Frosty the Snow Pile in the background. Unfortunately, the snow was just very dry and wouldn't pat together to make a proper snowman... so, we made a snowpile. You can see that the kids took turns providing the snowman's head below.

Camera Tricks

I got my new reflectors today!!! If you have no idea what I'm talking about, see the last picture :-)


Here, Suzanne's ear/hair is brightened with the Gold Reflector. She turned and I captured this moment, it just all fell together!

Here's the difference the White Reflector makes... same lighting. By now, she's noticed it and is looking towards it.

James face is lit by the window on the one side and the opposite side is filled with the Gold.

Here he's posing with the Gold Side. It's certainly big!! 43", but folds to an 18" circle. I can do white, silver, gold, black, and translucent! Woohoo!

Night Driving in Edwardsville

Some night shots I took while driving the other day --- Ok, I was the passenger but had my new toy in the car and was playing. I love the reflections on the truck in the first one.

Stayin Home Sunday

James was home from church on Sunday with a fever. Here is playing Fire fighter -- then, he found a bug.

Here he's looking at it and telling me about it. Daddy helped him take it out to release him, which I'm sure Mr. Bug appreciated int he 30 degree weather!
